What we collect and why
If you send an enquiry. Your name, email address, and — if you give them — your telephone number, the area you are interested in, and whatever you write in the message. We use it to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation. The legal basis is your request: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
If you create an account. Your email address, your password in hashed form, and the properties you save. We use it to sign you in and to show you your saved list. The legal basis is the contract you enter into by opening the account (art. 6(1)(b)).
Whenever anyone visits. Our host records the usual technical information — IP address, browser, pages requested — in its server logs. We use it to keep the site running and secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not run advertising or analytics tracking, we do not build profiles, and we do not make automated decisions about you. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is live and then for up to three years, which is the general limitation period for contractual claims in Spain. Accounts are kept until you delete them; delete your account and the saved list goes with it. Server logs are kept for up to thirty days.
Where tax or accounting law requires a record to be kept longer — for instance once a transaction takes place — we keep only what that law requires, for as long as it requires.
Who else sees it
We use the services below to run the site. Each of them acts on our instructions under a data-processing agreement, and each is named here as GDPR art. 13 requires.
Supabase
Stores visitor accounts, saved-property lists, contact enquiries and the agency's own articles. Sets a session cookie once a visitor signs in.
Processed in European Union (eu-west-1, Ireland) · their privacy policy
Resales Online
Supplies the property listings shown on the site. Receives no visitor data — the site reads from it, never writes to it.
Processed in Spain · their privacy policy
Google Fonts
Delivers the two typefaces the site is set in. A visitor's browser requests the font files directly, so Google receives their IP address.
Processed in United States (EU standard contractual clauses) · their privacy policy
YouTube and Vimeo
Play the agency's videos where an article embeds one. YouTube is embedded through youtube-nocookie.com, so nothing is set until a visitor presses play.
Processed in United States (EU standard contractual clauses) · their privacy policy
Where a service processes data outside the European Economic Area, it does so under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict what we do with it, to hand it to you or another provider in a portable form, or to object to our processing it. You can withdraw consent at any time where we relied on it, without affecting anything done beforehand.
Write to nicole-beyer-realestate@hotmail.com. We will answer within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, at aepd.es.
Cookies
The site sets only the cookies it needs to work, and one that remembers your language. The cookie policy lists every one of them.
